From a Prompt to Your First Video
A practical guide to describing a shot, using reference media and reviewing the result in Pixel0.
A useful video direction describes one clear moment. Start with the subject and its action, then add the setting and camera movement.
Describe what changes
“A paper bird on a desk” describes an image. “A paper bird unfolds its wings and lifts off a desk while the camera slowly moves closer” describes a shot.
Add lighting, pace or visual style when it changes the result you want. Keep the request focused on a single shot rather than a sequence of unrelated scenes.
Give references a purpose
Tell Pixel0 whether an image is the opening frame or a visual reference. Audio can guide sound or rhythm, while a video can guide motion or visual direction. The assistant maps that intent to the generation tool.
Check settings before submitting
Choose the video model, duration, resolution and aspect ratio. These affect the output and credit cost. If you are exploring a new idea, begin with a short clip before committing to a longer version.
Review and continue
Generation can take several minutes. When the clip is ready, preview it in the workspace. Keep the details that work, describe the next change and generate another version in the same conversation.
Your media library keeps completed clips available for reuse, download and sharing.
